WASHINGTON--White House hopeful Rick Perry, seeking to regain steam after debate blunders, called for big change in the way the federal government works Tuesday in Iowa.
Those three agencies Perry wants to cut: Department of Commerce, Department of Education and the Department of Energy, consolidating key programs into other agencies.
End lifetime Supreme Court and federal judge appointments.
Reduce congressional staff.
Make the Freedom of Information Act apply to the White House and Congress
(This is interesting since Perry won't disclose his fund-raising bundlers)
Veto any bills with unfunded mandates
