President Obama official schedule and guidance, Nov. 21, 2011. Country music night

Monday is Country Music night at the White House with Lauren Alaina, The Band Perry, Dierks Bentley, Alison Krauss, Kris Kristofferson, Lyle Lovett, Mickey, Darius Rucker and James Taylor. DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE FOR
MONDAY, NOVEMBER 21, 2011

In the morning, the President and the Vice President will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing in the Oval Office. This meeting is closed press.

Later in the morning, the President will deliver remarks and sign legislation into law that will provide tax credits to help put veterans back to work. The President believes that no veteran who fought for our country should have to fight for a job when they come home. The First Lady, the Vice President, and Dr. Biden will also attend. This event in South Court Auditorium is open press.

Later in the afternoon, the President will meet with Treasury Secretary Geithner in the Oval Office. This meeting is closed press.

In the evening, the President and First Lady will invite music legends and contemporary major artists to the White House for a celebration of country music as part of their "In Performance at the White House" series. Dr. Biden will also attend this event in the East Room. The President's remarks will be pooled press and the entire event will be streamed live on www.whitehouse.gov/live starting at 7:00PM EST.
