THE PUBLIC SCHEDULE FOR MAYOR RAHM EMANUEL OCTOBER 14, 2011

Mayor Emanuel and Department of Water Management Commissioner Thomas Powers will discuss the importance of investing in Chicago's water infrastructure.

Mayor Emanuel will greet His Excellency Lee Myung-bak, President of the Republic of Korea, and Mrs. Kim Yoon-ok upon their arrival in Chicago at O'Hare International Airport.

"I look forward to welcoming President Lee in Chicago," said Mayor Emanuel. "President Lee's visit will highlight the strong commitment to education and innovation, close partnership and deep economic ties between Chicago and the Republic of Korea. It will also be an opportunity to celebrate the rich bonds of friendship between Chicagoans and the Korean people."

Mayor Emanuel will greet Republic of Korea President Lee Myung-Bak and Mrs. Kim Yoon-ok upon their arrival in Chicago at O'Hare International Airport.

* RSVP: Press planning to cover the President's arrival at O'Hare must RSVP to the Chicago Department of Aviation's Eve Rodriguez at EveRodriguez@ex.cityofchicago.org. RSVP to O'Hare must include date of birth and social security number and registered media must provide a government-issued photo ID upon arrival at O'Hare.

* Directions to media parking at O'Hare: From the south, take I-190 to the Mannheim North exit. Take Mannheim to Touhy. Turn left on Touhy. Follow Touhy to Mt. Prospect road. Turn left. Park in the gravel lot immediately on the right. Media will be bussed and escorted to the media press riser on the airfield.
