WASHINGTON--Mayor Rahm Emanuel guests on NBC's "Meet the Press" on Sunday when the show broadcasts live from Chicago's Museum of Contemporary Art. The show will be taped at 8 a.m. central time but televised in the Chicago area at 11 a.m., delayed because of the Chicago marathon.
Other guests booked are Rep. Luis Gutierrez (D-Ill.) and Rep. Aaron Schock (R-Ill.).
Betsy Fischer, "Meet the Press" executive producer tells me the Chicago stop is in connection with the Oct. 10 kick off of the Chicago Ideas Week. Emanuel's former boss, former President Bill Clinton is a featured Ideas Week speaker on Oct. 11.
