Obama South Korea State Dinner: Fifth in his presidency, third this year

President Obama and First Lady Michelle welcome Republic of Korea President Lee Myung-bak and First Lady Kim Yoon-ok to the White House Thursday morning.

WASHINGTON--President Obama and First Lady Michelle host their fifth State Dinner Thursday night, to honor the Republic of Korea President Lee Myung-bak and First Lady Kim Yoon-ok. This is the third state dinner this year for the Obama White House.

*June, 2011 for Germany's Chancellor Angela Merkel.

*January, 2011 for China's President Hu Jintao.

*May, 2010 for Mexico's President Felipe Calderón.

*November, 2009 India's Prime Minister Manmohan Singh.
