Rep. Tammy Baldwin jumps in Wisconsin Senate race. Would be first openly gay Senator

WASHINGTON--Rep. Tammy Baldwin (D-Wisc.) jumped in the Senate race Tuesday to replace retiring Sen. Herb Kohl. If she wins, she will be the first openly gay senator. Her House district includes Madison.
