DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE FOR

TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 20, 2011

In the morning, the President will meet with the Transitional National Council (TNC) Chairman, Mustafa Abdel Jalil. There will be a stills only photo spray at the top of the meeting. The President will then attend a Libya Contact Group Meeting. There will be travel pool coverage and United Nations TV (UNTV) coverage of the opening remarks.

Later, the President will hold a bilateral meeting with President Hamid Karzai of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan. There will be a stills only photo spray at the top of the meeting.

In the afternoon, the President will meet with President Dilma Rousseff of Brazil. There will be a stills only photo spray at the top of the meeting.

Also in the afternoon, the President and President Dilma Rousseff will join in a family photo with leaders attending the Open Government Partnership Event. After, the President will attend the Open Government Partnership Event. There will be travel pool coverage of both of these events.

Later, the President will attend a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan of Turkey. There will be a travel pool spray of the statements at the top of the meeting.

In the evening, the President and the First Lady will attend a DNC event. There will be travel pool coverage of the President's and First Lady's remarks.
