DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE FOR
WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 14, 2011

In the morning, the President and the Vice President will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing in the Oval Office. This meeting is closed press.

Later in the morning, the President will travel to the Raleigh-Durham area. The departure from the South Lawn and the arrival at the Raleigh-Durham International Airport are open press.

While there, the President will travel to the town of Apex to visit WestStar Precision, a small business that will benefit from the bipartisan proposals in the American Jobs Act that the President unveiled in an address to a Joint Session of Congress last week. There will be travel pool coverage of the President's tour of WestStar Precision.

The President will also travel to North Carolina State University where he will deliver remarks on the American Jobs Act, emphasizing the need for Congress to pass it now and put more people back to work and more money in the pockets of working Americans, while not adding a dime to the deficit. The President's remarks at North Carolina State University are open to pre-credentialed media.

In the afternoon, the President will return to Washington, DC. The departure from Raleigh-Durham International Airport and the arrival on the South Lawn are open press.

Later in the afternoon, the President and the Vice President will meet in the Oval Office. This meeting is closed press.

In the evening, the President and the First Lady will attend the Congressional Hispanic Caucus Institute's 34th Annual Awards Gala. The President will deliver remarks at this event. These remarks are open press.
