President Obama official schedule and guidance June 1, 2011. House GOP meeting

DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE FOR
WEDNESDAY, JUNE 1, 2011

In the morning, the President will meet with the House Republican Conference in the East Room. This meeting is closed press.

Tomorrow, June 1, is the beginning of the Atlantic Hurricane Season and the President will receive the annual briefing on the forecast for the 2011 hurricane season. The President will hold a meeting on national preparedness and FEMA's "Whole Community" approach to disaster management. This year, the briefing will not only feature federal partners, but will also include state, local, non-profit, faith-based as well as private sector partners. This briefing will be closed press.

In the afternoon, the President will meet with senior advisors in the Oval Office. This meeting is closed press.

Later in the afternoon, the President will meet with Secretary of State Clinton in the Oval Office. This meeting is closed press.
