WASHINGTON---While the GOP tries to repeal President Obama's health care law, on the other side of the political spectrum Sen. Bernie Sanders (I-Vt.) and Rep. Jim McDermott (D-Wash.) and some unions are pushing again for a single-payer health care system, introducing bills in the Senate and House.
Obama rejected single-payer plans for his health care over-haul because he could not find political support for the measure.
