Rahm Emanuel, Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. testify at Blagojevich trial re Valerie Jarrett and Senate seat

Mayor Rahm Emanuel and Rep. Jesse Jackson Jr. (D-Ill.) testified for the defense on Wednesday in the corruption trial of former Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich. Emanuel testifed only for a few minutes.

Testifying Wednesday at the retrial of former Gov. Rod Blagojevich, Mayor Rahm Emanuel said that no one ever asked him for anything in exchange for his request to have presidential adviser Valerie Jarrett appointed to fill the senate seat formerly held by President Barack Obama.
