DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE FOR
MONDAY, MAY 2, 2011
In the morning, the President and the Vice President will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing in the Oval Office. The President will then meet with senior advisors in the Oval Office. These meetings are closed press.
In the afternoon, the President will award Private First Class Anthony T. Kaho'ohanohano, U.S. Army, and Private First Class Henry Svehla, U.S. Army, the Medal of Honor for conspicuous gallantry in the East Room. The First Lady will also attend. This ceremony is open press.
In the evening, the President and the First Lady will host a group of bipartisan leaders and ranking members and their spouses for a dinner in the East Room. The Vice President, Dr. Biden, members of the President's Cabinet and senior members of his White House staff will also attend. This dinner is closed press.
