WEEKEND GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE FOR
SATURDAY, MARCH 12, AND SUNDAY, MARCH 13, 2011


On Saturday, the President will deliver remarks at the Gridiron Dinner at the Renaissance Hotel in Washington, DC. The event is closed press.

The President has no public events scheduled on Sunday.

Schedule for the Week of March 14, 2011

On Monday, the President will visit Kenmore Middle School in Arlington, VA where he will deliver a speech on education. Later, the President will welcome Prime Minister Lars Lokke Rasmussen of Denmark to the White House. The President looks forward to discussing with Prime Minister Rasmussen the strong ties between the United States and Denmark, the common global and security challenges our two nations face, including counterterrorism, the situation in the Middle East and economic and environmental issues.

On Tuesday and Wednesday, the President will attend meetings at the White House.

On Thursday, the President will welcome the Taoiseach of Ireland to the White House in honor of St. Patrick's Day. Later, the President will attend a St. Patrick's Day lunch at the U.S. Capitol. In the evening, the President and the First Lady will host a St. Patrick's Day reception at the White House.

On Friday evening, the First Family will travel to Brasilia, Brazil.
