Rahm Emanuel Wins Outright Majority In Chicago Mayor's Race

Washington, DC, February 23, 2011. Greenberg Quinlan Rosner congratulates Chicago Mayor-elect Rahm Emanuel. Emanuel won 55 percent of the vote to prevent a run-off, including winning 40 wards across the city. The closest rival was at 24 percent of the vote in this wide-open, crowded field.

"We have had the privilege of working with Rahm since 2002 in his first congressional campaign and were part of a remarkable team and thousands of volunteers who rallied to this cause," declared Stanley Greenberg, the company's CEO. "Now, he is in position to make brave decisions and move this great city to a new place."

Greenberg Quinlan Rosner is proud to have had the opportunity to support Emanuel and his campaign team with public opinion research and strategic advice.

Chicago and the country had a great victory last night.

Greenberg Quinlan Rosner's team for the mayoral election was:
Stan Greenberg - Chief Executive Officer

Anna Greenberg - Senior Vice President

Jason McGrath - Senior Associate

Ruth Igielnik - Assistant Analyst
