DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE FOR

In the morning, the President will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing and meet with senior advisors in the Oval Office. These meetings are closed press.
This week, the White House will hold a number of events to focus on innovation, and President Obama's plan for winning the future by out-innovating, out-educating, and out-building the rest of the world. On Monday, the White House will launch "Startup America," a national campaign to help America achieve these goals by promoting high-growth entrepreneurship across the country.
At an event at 11:00 am ET in the South Court Auditorium at the White House, Gary Locke, Secretary of the Department of Commerce; Dr. Steven Chu, Secretary of the Department of Energy; Karen Mills, Administrator of the Small Business Administration; Gene Sperling, Director of the National Economic Council; Austan Goolsbee, Chairman of the Council of Economic Advisers, and a number of America's top entrepreneurs will hold an event to launch the program. The event is open press. Final gather is at 10:40 am ET in the Brady Press Briefing Room. Secretary Locke and Administrator Mills will visit the stakeout location immediately following the event.
