In the morning, the President, the First Lady and Dr. Biden will deliver remarks at an event in the East Room unveiling efforts to better coordinate and strengthen the Federal government's support for military families. This event is open press.

In the afternoon, the President will meet with Secretary of Defense Gates in the Oval Office. This meeting is closed press.

In the evening, the President and the First Lady will host new Members of Congress at a reception at the White House. The Vice President and Dr. Biden will also attend. This reception is closed press.
