Committee to Hear from TSA, Border Chiefs on Aviation Cargo Security

WASHINGTON - The Senate Homeland Security and Governmental Affairs Committee, led by Chairman Joe Lieberman, ID-Conn., and Ranking Member Susan Collins, R-Me., will hold a hearing, "Closing the Gaps in Air Cargo Security," on Tuesday, November 16, at 2:30 p.m. The hearing will examine what actions are being taken to improve air cargo security in light of the Yemen parcel bomb plot uncovered in October and whether additional measures might be needed.
