DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE FOR
FRIDAY, NOVEMBER 19, 2010


In the morning, the President will arrive in Lisbon, Portugal. The arrival at the Lisbon International Airport is open press. The President will then participate in a U.S Embassy meet and greet at the Lisbon Marriot Hotel. This is closed press.

In the afternoon, the President will participate in an arrival ceremony and signs the guest book at Belém National Palace. There will be travel pool coverage. Later, the President will hold a bilateral meeting with President Cavaco Silva of Portugal at Belém National Palace. There will be a travel pool spray at the top of the meeting. The President will then participate in a working lunch with President Cavaco Silva. This lunch is closed press. Later, the President and President Cavaco Silva will deliver statements to the press. There will be travel pool coverage.

Later in the afternoon, the President will hold a bilateral meeting with Prime Minister Socrates of Portugal at the Prime Minister's Office. There will be a travel pool spray at the top of the meeting. The President and Prime Minister Socrates will then deliver statements to the press. There will be travel pool coverage of the statements.

Later, the President will participate in a NATO arrival reception at the Feria Internacional de Lisboa. There will be travel pool coverage of the reception. Later, the President will attend the NAC opening session and then the NAC working session. There will be travel pool coverage of the opening session and the working session will be closed press. Later, the President will participate in the NATO official photo. There will be travel pool coverage.

In the evening, the President will hold a bilateral meeting with President Saakashvili of Georgia. This meeting is closed press. Later in the evening, the President will participate in the NAC working dinner. This dinner is closed press.

Schedule for the Week of November 21, 2010

On Sunday and Monday, the President has no public events scheduled.

On Tuesday, the President and the Vice President will travel to Kokomo, Indiana, as part of the White House to Main Street tour.

On Wednesday, the President will participate in the pardoning of the turkey ceremony at the White House.

On Thursday, the President will celebrate Thanksgiving at the White House.

On Friday, the President has no public events scheduled.
