DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE FOR
THURSDAY, OCTOBER 14, 2010
In the morning, the President and the Vice President will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing in the Oval Office. The President will then meet with senior advisors in the Oval Office. These meetings are closed press.
In the afternoon, the President and the Vice President will have lunch in the Private Dining Room. This lunch is closed press. Later, the President will meet with Secretary of the Treasury Geithner in the Oval Office. This meeting is closed press.
Later in the afternoon, the President will participate in a live, commercial free youth Town Hall on Viacom's BET, CMT and MTV networks. He will appear before an audience of approximately 250 young people representing a broad cross-section of backgrounds, interests and political views. The President will answer questions from the studio audience as well as from viewers submitting questions via Twitter. Centric, mtvU and Tr3s will also run the special live. There will be a spray for pool still photographers at the top of the town hall.
