(Chicago, IL) - Thursday, Rep. Luis V. Gutierrez (D-IL) will address a group of students at the University of Illinois, Chicago (UIC) on the themes of education, immigration, and public service. The address, at 3:00 p.m. CT at the campus' Rafael Cintron-Ortiz Latino Cultural Center, is hosted by Tau Phi Sigma Multicultural Fraternity. Rep. Gutierrez' youngest daughter, Jessica, is a freshman at UIC and helped arrange the gathering for students interested in public policy, politics, and issues affecting Latino and immigrant students and students of all backgrounds.
