Right Nation 2010 Convention in suburban Chicago: Glenn Beck, Breitbart, 2012 straw poll

WASHINGTON--Glenn Beck, Andrew Breitbart and Dick Armey--a godfather of the Tea Party movement--are among the headliners at the Right Nation 2010 Convention on Saturday in suburban Hoffman Estates. The gathering of the who's who of the right--including Illinois and national elected officials, activists and candidates will be at the Sears Centre Arena.

More than 10,000 people are expected to attend the conservative gathering, where a highlight will be a straw poll of 2012 Republican presidential contenders.

Right Nation 2010 to Feature
2012 Presidential Straw Poll

CHICAGO - Right Nation 2010, an unprecedented gathering of thousands of conservatives, Republicans and Tea Party independents on September 18th, will feature the first 2012 Presidential Straw poll in the Midwest.

The poll will show the preferences of grassroots leaders from throughout the Heartland, with attendees from the Midwestern states of Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, and Wisconsin, as well as tickets sold outside the Midwest from Florida to California.

The Right Nation 2012 Presidential Straw Poll is sponsored by Americans for Prosperity, a national organization of grassroots leaders who engage citizens in the name of limited government and free markets on the local, state and federal levels.

The poll will be conducted during the evening convention via paper ballot, and will be overseen and certified by Right Nation 2010 officials. Results will be released on the Right Nation 2010 website (www.RightNation2010.com) at 10am CDT on Monday, September 20th.
