DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE FOR
TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 28, 2010
In the morning, the President will meet with a family at their home in Albuquerque, New Mexico. There is travel pool coverage of the meeting. Following the meeting, the President will hold a discussion on the economy with families from the area. This discussion is pooled for TV and still photographers and open to credentialed correspondents.
The President will then travel to Madison, Wisconsin. The departure from Kirtland Air Force Base and the arrival at Traux Field Air National Guard Base are open press. In the afternoon, the President will attend a DNC finance reception at the Concourse Hotel in Madison. This event is closed press. The President will then deliver remarks at a DNC rally at the University of Wisconsin at Madison. The rally is open press.
Later, the President will travel to Des Moines, Iowa, where he will spend the night. The departure from Traux Field Air National Guard Base and the arrival at Des Moines International Airport are open press.

Traffic could have been handled better. People got stuck in lanes that were blocked off with no advance notice and no where to turn around No notices on the marquis on the freeway. It was a real MESS out there. I, and apparently hundreds of other people don't follow politics or the president's schedule. Better handeling of the traffic could have saved a lot of time and trouble for a lot of people. Just a thought for next time.
