DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE FOR
TUESDAY, SEPTEMBER 14, 2010

In the morning, the President and the Vice President will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing and the Economic Daily Briefing in the Oval Office. The President will then meet with senior advisors in the Oval Office. These meetings are closed press.

Later in the morning, the President will travel to Pennsylvania to deliver his second annual Back-to-School Speech at Julia R. Masterman Laboratory and Demonstration School in Philadelphia, PA, a 2010 National Blue Ribbon School. The President's Back-to-School Speech is an opportunity to speak directly to students across the country. Last year, President Obama encouraged students to study hard, stay in school, and take responsibility for their education. The President's speech is open to correspondents and still photographers and pooled for television.

In the afternoon, the President will return to Washington, DC. The departure from Philadelphia International Airport and the arrival on the South Lawn are open press.
