Fraternal Order of Police to Make Major Campaign Announcement

Chicago, IL...The Illinois Fraternal Order of Police will announce its choice for the next Governor of Illinois on Tuesday, September 7 at 10:30 a.m. at the Gold Star Families Memorial Park, located on the Chicago Solider Field Campus.

Representatives of the organization will be on hand, including President Ted Street, First Vice President Pat Duckhorn, Second Vice President Jim Simmons, Chairman of Trustees Kevin Farrell, Secretary Chris Southwood, along with Republican Gubernatorial Nominee Bill Brady and others.

WHO: The Fraternal Order of Police, Illinois State Lodge, and Gubernatorial Nominee Bill Brady.

WHAT: The Illinois FOP endorsement in the race for Governor.

WHERE: The Gold Star Families Memorial and Park is located on Chicago Park District grounds near Waldron Drive (in the shadow of Soldier Field). Exit 18th Street from Lake Shore Drive and head East to Waldron Drive. On non-event days, one-hour free parking is available at the southwest corner of Waldron and Museum Campus Drive.
