Rod Blagojevich convicted on only 1 of 24 counts; feds promise retrial

WASHINGTON--Former Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich was found guilty on only one count on Tuesday--of making a false statement to a federal agent, with jurors not reaching agreement on 23 other counts. FOR FULL UPDATES, CLICK HERE TO GO TO THE CHICAGO SUN-TIMES BLAGO BLOG.

The jury was also deadlocked on the four counts Robert Blagojevich was charged with.

The federal prosecutors said they would seek a retrial.
