WEEKEND GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE FOR
SATURDAY, AUGUST 14, AND SUNDAY, AUGUST 15, 2010
On Saturday, the First Family will travel to Florida's Gulf Coast and spend the weekend in Panama City Beach, FL. While in Panama City Beach, the President and First Lady will join area small business owners and Navy Secretary Ray Mabus for a roundtable discussion of the recovery. In June, the President asked Secretary Mabus, a former governor of Mississippi and a son of the Gulf Coast, to develop a long-term Gulf Coast Restoration Plan. There will be a pool spray of the roundtable. Following the roundtable discussion, the President will make a statement. The President's remarks will be open press.
On Sunday, the First Family will return to Washington, DC.

Schedule for Week of August 16, 2010
On Monday, the President will travel to Menominee Falls, Wisconsin, where he will tour ZBB Energy, Inc. and deliver remarks to workers. While in the state, the President will also visit Milwaukee where he will headline events for Mayor Tom Barrett and the Wisconsin Democratic Party. Later, the President will travel to Los Angeles, CA and headline events for the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee.
On Tuesday, the President will travel to Seattle, WA to talk about strengthening the economy and creating jobs. While in Seattle, he will also headline events for Senator Patty Murray.
On Wednesday, the President will discuss the economy in the Columbus, OH, area. While there, he will also headline events for Governor Ted Strickland and the Ohio Democratic Party. Later on Wednesday, the President will travel to Florida to headline an event for the Florida Democratic Party.
On Thursday, the Obama family will travel to Martha's Vineyard. After a busy and productive July, they are looking forward to returning to Martha's Vineyard to spend time together as a family before heading back to Washington on the 29th.
