WASHINGTON--President Obama was met at O'Hare Airport on Wednesday, his 49th birthday, by Illinois Gov. Pat Quinn, Chicago Mayor Richard M. Daley, Rep. Mike Quigley (D-Ill.) and Rep. Jan Schakowsky (D-Ill.). Quinn brought Obama a birthday gift--and the box dropped to the tarmac. What was the gift?

A spokesman for Quinn's office told me Quinn gave Obama a set of State of Illinois cuff links.
