Blagojevich verdict: convicted on cover-up, not crimes

WASHINGTON--Former Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich was nailed for the cover-up--not the underlying crimes in his criminal corruption trial. My column on the irony of a jury convicting Blagojevich for making false statements about his political fund-raising--where he denied doing a perfectly legal activity candidates do all the time.
