DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE FOR
FRIDAY, JULY 2, 2010
In the morning, the President will deliver a statement to the press about the monthly employment numbers and makes a Recovery Act announcement at Andrews Air Force Base. The President will be joined by Secretary of Commerce Locke and Secretary of Agriculture Vilsack. The President's remarks will be covered by the out-of-town travel pool.
The President and the Vice President will then travel to Charleston, West Virginia to participate in the memorial service for U.S. Senator Robert Byrd. The President and Vice President will deliver remarks at the service. The service is open to pre-credentialed media, however the deadline to request credentials has passed.
In the afternoon, the President will travel to Camp David. There will be out-of-town travel pool coverage of the President's arrival and departure at Andrews Air Force Base.
