Pool report 1

Good morning from Fort McNair, where POTUS is playing basketball.

Motorcade of SUVs rolled from the South Lawn at 9:33 a.m. Reggie Love was in the
president's SUV.

Departing the White House, several hundred Boy Scouts, in the area for their
national convention, snapped pictures and waved. Because we stopped at lights,
most people otherwise ignored us.

POTUS, sporting a White Sox cap, a gray shirt and black pants, arrived at 9:43
a.m.

Pool is holding in vans or immediately outside of them, a delightful experience
on this, the day expected to be the hottest of the summer.
