WASHINGTON--Will diehard White Sox fan President Obama be at the White Sox-Nationals game Friday night, or if not, any of the three-game weekend series? The South Siders face National pitching superstar Stephen Strasburg Friday, his third start for the Nationals.

White Sox owner Jerry Reinsdorf is here with his team, the Sun-Times sports staff tells me. I've heard that First Lady Michelle Obama--back from California--is not going to the game on Friday.

In April, wearing a White Sox cap and a Nationals jacket, Obama threw out the first pitch at the Nationals opener.
