White House sends around Kagan talking points

As the Senate started Elena Kagan's Supreme Court confirmation hearing on Monday, Chris Kang, from the Obama White House legislative affairs office sent some talking point ammunition to Senate staffers:

from Kang....

As you know, today, the confirmation hearings for Elena Kagan to be an Associate Justice of the Supreme Court will begin. I wanted to pass along some information that might be helpful: 1) Excerpts of her opening statement; 2) a letter of support by all 10 Solicitors General since 1985; 3) a letter of support by the National District Attorneys Association; 4) a bipartisan letter of support by her fellow Supreme Court clerks from 1987-88; and 5) a letter of support signed by nearly a third of all law school deans in the nation.

Please let me know if you have any questions or need anything with respect to this nomination.
