Obama, Petraeus and MoveOn.Org: 2007 flashback

WASHINGTON--In 2007, then Sen. Barack Obama (D-Ill.) a presidential candidate, took a walk when it came to a Senate vote on a GOP measure to condemn a MoveOn ad blasting Gen. David Petraeus; here's my report from that day. Obama on Thursday tapped Petraeus to replace Afghanistan commander Gen. Stanley McChrystal in the wake of his intemperate Rolling Stone interview.
