Vice President Biden hits Michigan on Monday to discuss the Recovery Act and then heads to Chicago to headline back-to-back fundraisers at the Union League Club for Democrats Dan Seals, running for the open 10th district House seat and Senate nominee Alexi Giannoulias, the state treasurer. Here's my wrap up and overview on the Illinois Senate race--and the challenges facing Kirk and Giannoulias. Today in Chicago, the two rivals--in separate sessions-- talk about environmental and planning issues at a forum sponsored by the Metropolitan Planning Council.
