Alexi Giannoulias fund-raiser hosts: Desiree Rogers, Rep. Jan Schakowsky, Bettylu Saltzman

Below, from an invite for a June 14 fund-raising lunch targeted to female donors for Illinois Senate nominee Alexi Giannoulias....

If you want a U.S. Senator from Illinois that is supported by Planned Parenthood and the Sierra Club, the only candidate who would actually vote for equal pay for women and paid parental leave, then Alexi Giannoulias is your man.

Please join me at Alexi Giannoulias's "Women's Circle Luncheon" on Monday, June 14. Alexi is in a dead heat race with Congressman Mark Kirk who has already demonstrated that he won't stand with women when it really matters. He voted against the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act and for the anti-choice Stupak Amendment to the health care bill.

Can we afford to have an anti-choice Senator take the seat held by Barack Obama? If you say no, then I hope you can afford to come to this fundraising lunch for Alexi!

Please Women's Circle for Alexi Giannoulias Co-Chairs Congresswoman Schakowsky, Anna Giannoulias, Desiree Rogers, and Bettylu Saltzman for a Spring luncheon.
