Veterans group goes after Kirk in new ad

The first third-party ad in the Illinois Senate race comes from VoteVets and slams GOP Senate nominee Rep. Mark Steven Kirk (R-Ill.), an intelligence officer in the Naval Reserves. Kirk makes much of his military record, so it is interesting to see what impact the VoteVets group has in the race. The spot--running in the Chicago market--hits Kirk on an energy vote and for taking campaign contributions from energy interests. See the spot here.

i sent kirk an e-mail of which i have had no reply.

i informed him that although i was a die hard republican, i would not support him in nov.

i accused him of being a liberal who supported obama.

he voted for cap and trade!

and one of the worst things about him in my opinion, he is anti gun and against our second amendment rights.

he is a liberal disguised as a republican, the kind that makes smokey back room deals with friends of obama!

a veteran

Have to say, it hits Rep Kirk right between the eyes. Good commercial!
