President Obama official schedule and guidance, Feb. 4, 2010. DNC fundraiser

DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE FOR

THURSDAY, FEBRUARY 4, 2010

In the morning, the President and the First Lady will attend the National Prayer Breakfast at the Washington Hilton. The President will deliver remarks. This President's attendance and remarks are pooled press.

After returning to the White House, the President will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing in the Oval Office. The President will also meet with Speaker Pelosi, Senator Reid, Senator Durbin, and Representative Hoyer in the Oval Office to discuss a broad range of priorities at the top of the administration's legislative agenda. These meetings are closed press.

The President will have lunch with business leaders in the Old Family Dining Room. This lunch is closed press.

In the afternoon, the President and the Vice President will meet separately with Secretary of the Treasury Geithner and Secretary of State Clinton in the Oval Office. These meetings are closed press.

In the evening, the President will deliver remarks at a DNC fundraising reception at the Capitol Hilton. He will also participate in a question and answer session facilitated by Organizing for America Director Mitch Stewart. The President's remarks and the question and answer session are pooled press. The President will then deliver remarks at a DNC fundraising dinner at the National Museum of Women in the Arts. The President's remarks are pooled press.

Also tomorrow, one year after President Obama signed the Children's Health Insurance Program Reauthorization Act, Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Kathleen Sebelius and Department of Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack will visit the Mazique Parent Child Center to discuss efforts to identify and enroll children in health coverage and announce new steps the Departments are taking to insure more kids.
