DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE FOR

TUESDAY, JANUARY 12, 2010

In the morning, the President and the First Lady will travel to Wilmington, Delaware to attend funeral services for Mrs. Jean Biden. The departure from the South Lawn and the arrival at the Delaware Air National Guard in New Castle are open press. The services at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church in Wilmington are pooled for print, television, and radio press only.

The President and the First Lady will return to the White House in the afternoon. The departure from New Castle and the arrival on the South Lawn is open press.

Later, the President will greet the U.S. Ladies Professional Golf Association team in the Oval Office. He will also meet with Secretary of Defense Gates in the Oval Office. These meetings are closed press.

Also tomorrow at 3:00PM EST, Ben Rhodes with the National Security Staff will hold the second of five online video chats this week examining what the Administration has done over the past year, and where the Administration is heading on various issues. Rhodes' chat will focus on foreign policy and national security. All chats will be held at www.WhiteHouse.gov/live and the White House Facebook page.
