Illinois Gitmo North: Hearing on selling Thomson Wednesday in Chicago

Below, from the State of Illinois...


There will be a meeting of the Illinois Commission on Government Forecasting and Accountability to be held Wednesday, January 6, 2010 at 1:00 p.m. The hearing will be held in Room 9-036 at the James R. Thompson Center in Chicago, Illinois and via video conferencing in either Room 114 or 115 at the Capitol Building or Room 349 (CDB Board Room) in the Stratton Office Building in Springfield. We will let you know as soon as a hearing room in Springfield has been confirmed.

The purpose of the meeting is for discussion and vote on the proposed closure of the Thomson Correctional Center.

Thomson will be mothballed and a very large waste of tax payer money unless it is sold.

Thousands of jobs is nothing more than a Fairy Tale. The in house jobs require specialized training above and beyond the scope what most of the locals.
The Aleutian Islands would be a better locale if a U.S. based prison is required by that idiot scummbag Holder.
The Obama Administration is hellbent on coddling these maggots while at the same time ignoring the brave men and women dying daily.

2010-we can all make a difference by changing OUR Congressional balance away from Ried and Pelosi. Nullify Durbin and the rest of the Demothugs!
