DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE FOR
TUESDAY, DECEMBER 22, 2009

In the morning, the President will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing and meet with senior advisors in the Oval Office. These meetings are closed press.

The President will then meet with CEOs of several small and community banks in the Roosevelt Room to discuss the ways we can work together to continue on a path to economic recovery. The President will reiterate to attendees that we all have a stake in getting the economy back on track from the government to the small and large financial institutions to the private sector. As a part of that conversation, he plans to discuss the need to increase lending to small businesses, the housing foreclosure crisis and the importance of passing financial reform to local communities. There will be a pool spray at the bottom of the meeting.

In the afternoon, the President will meet with members of the National Economic Council in the Oval Office. This meeting is closed press.
