DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE FOR
MONDAY, DECEMBER 21, 2009

In the morning, the President will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing in the Oval Office and meet with members of the National Economic Council in the Roosevelt Room. These meetings are closed press.

The President will then meet with SAVE Award winner Nancy Fichtner of Colorado in the Oval Office. This meeting is closed press. Following the meeting, the President will deliver remarks on making government more efficient and effective in the Diplomatic Reception Room. They will be joined by OMB Director Orszag and Veterans Affairs Secretary Shinseki. This event is pooled press.

Later, the President will meet with senior advisors in the Oval Office. This meeting is closed press.

In the afternoon, the President will meet with Secretary of State Clinton in the Oval Office. This meeting is closed press.
