Schedule for Week of December 21, 2009
On Monday, following his meeting in the Oval Office with the SAVE Award winner Nancy Fichtner of Colorado, the President will deliver remarks on making government more efficient and effective in the Diplomatic Reception Room. They will be joined by OMB Director Orszag and Veterans Affairs Secretary Shinseki.
On Tuesday, as a follow up to his meeting this week with CEOS from larger financial institutions, the President will meet with CEOs of several small and community banks at the White House to discuss the ways we can work together to continue on a path to economic recovery. The President will reiterate to attendees that we all have a stake in getting the economy back on track from the government to the small and large financial institutions to the private sector. As a part of that conversation, he plans to discuss the need to increase lending to small businesses, the housing foreclosure crisis and the importance of passing financial reform to local communities.
Further details about the President's schedule for the rest of the week will be announced at a later date.

Wow! Read this one. It is really good. And this gentleman says it just like it is.
This venerable and much honored WW II vet is well known in Hawaii
for his seventy-plus years of service to patriotic organizations and causes all over the country. A humble man without a political bone in his body, he has never spoken out before about a government official, until now. He dictated this letter to a friend, signed it and mailed it to the president. Consult : http://xrl.us/bgeewc
