DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE FOR
WEDNESDAY, NOVEMBER 4, 2009
In the morning, the President will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing and the Economic Daily Briefing in the Oval Office. These meetings are closed press. The President will then participate in a credentialing ceremony for foreign ambassadors in the Oval Office. This is closed press.
Later, the President will travel to Madison, Wisconsin. The departure from the South Lawn and the arrival at Dane County Regional Airport are open press. The President and Secretary of Education Arne Duncan will meet with students at Wright Middle School. There will be a pool spray at the top. The President will then deliver remarks on strengthening America's education system. This event is open press.
The President will return to the White House in the evening. The departure from Dane County Regional Airport and the arrival on the South Lawn are open press.
Later in the evening, the President and the First Lady will host an event celebrating classical music in the East Room. The President will deliver remarks. The President's remarks are pooled press. Performers include Joshua Bell, Sharon Isbin, Alisa Weilerstein and Awadagin Pratt. This concert will be streamed live on www.WhiteHouse.gov and will air on SIRIUS XM Radio's Symphony Hall channel, SIRIUS channel 80 and XM channel 78, over the weekend.
