WASHINGTON--"Saturday Night Live" grappled with real life--President Obama's surprise win of the Nobel Peace Prize on Friday--as cast member Fred Armisen played the president as the luckiest man in the world--who is not George Bush.

Armisen as Obama: "This came without warning, I didn't even get a call as due to the time difference in Norway, the Nobel people didn't want to wake me up. I wish they had, I could have said to Hillary Clinton, 'Hey, remember that 3 a.m. call you were so worried about? It happened. Nobel Peace Prize.'

"Now this prize..is giving annually to individuals who have made significant contributions to world peace. Jimmy Carter won it for decades of trying to find solutions to international conflicts.

"Al Gore won it for his years of educating U.S about climate change.

"And us?

"Well, I won it for not being George Bush.

"To be perfectly honest, this award was a complete surprise as I have only not been George W. Bush for nine months. But I am deeply honored none the less."

The skit goes on to have Obama winning a $70 million jackpot in a powerball lottery--with the first lottery ticket he ever bought.

The Peace prize has been politicalized sadly. President Obama does not deserve this award

Still haven't see who nominated him in the 1st place...maybe michelle did

If Obama's lost SNL, he's lost the country. (sorry to steal, LBJ).

..and I was just awarded the crown as Prom Queen.

Makes me wonder if Obama realizes what kind of a fool the Euro trash has just make of him.
They have manipulted him into doing their bidding....the jek is clueless.
Wonder if he has a hard time not kissing all the mirrors in the White House.

Obama and the democrats have not lost Saturday Night Live. That is what SNL wants us to believe to keep the pretense that they are an equal opportunity offender.

The jokes about Obama are not only not funny funny but the actor playing Obama does not even sound like him.

Why don't they make constant fun of Obama's use of the teleprompter? That would ridicule him. But nooo, Obama is supposedly the greatest communicator in our lifetime, yeah an honor just as deserving as that of being a Nobel Peace prize winner.

Can you imagine if Bush had used and overused the teleprompter the way Obama does, the ridicule would have been relentless.

These jokes from SNL don't even make me smile.

So don't worry, SNL is still firmly in the liberal anti Republican anti Sarah Palin camp.

It's really too bad that there seems to be little or no respect for the President being selected for the Nobel Peace Prize. I think the SNL skit was done in poor taste.

Will Wolf and his "fact checkers" again jump on this to say "Nah ahhh! They Lie! The President did NOT win the Powerball! Rupert Murdoch must have bought SNL in the dark of night sometime when we--the REAL journalists--were busy working to help The President be successful, and weren't paying attention!!!"

PRESIDENT [I capitalize because alot of American's think that they can call him Mr. and that this is okay; alot of Americans think that they can call him "obama" and that htis is okay. HE IS OUR P-R-E-S-I-D-E-N-T to whom you do not yell in a town hall meeting; whose wife can dress as she would when going with her family on a picnic or park event- Just like my mom did. Mr. President, you deserve the Nobel Prize and you continue to inspire me.

I love that My President gives me more hope every day. The Nobel Prize? Of course he deserves it! That's why HE instead of YOU received it. It is personal to me. I have a two-volume notebook filled with everything he has done, inch-by-inch, for my grand people to have a precious copy of. Anonymous

Not sure Obama deserved the Nobel Peace Prize after bombing The Moon! More funny details @ http://www.thelintscreen.com

Obama on SNL

Just wondering what Harry Connick Jr has to say about this skit? After all darkening your face and sending up African Americans is supposed to be a huge insult and considered racist in America.
Especially when so many Americans have worked so hard to stop African Americans being stereotyped as "Buffoons"

I thought if someone turned up to a set looking like that in the USA they'd be turned away?

At least that is what he said when a group of unkown Aussies painted up to send up the Jackson Five.

HE WON THE AWARD BECAUSE OF WHAT HE HAS DONE FOR THE COUNTRY AND THE WORLD, UNFORTUNATELY SOME IN HIS OWN COUNTRY CAN'T SEE THE FOREST FOR THE TREES, THANK YOU PRESIDENT OBAMA FOR GIVING US AN UPGRADE IN THE OVAL OFFICE, THE WORLD CAN SEE WHAT YOU ARE DOING, WE JUST NEED MORE AT HOME TO SEE MORE CLEARLY, THANK YOU FOR MAKING DECISIONS BASED ON THE COUNTRY AND NOT YOURSELF, THANK YOU FOR TAKING TIME OUT TO BE A GOOD STEWARD AND A GREAT LEADER, CONGRATS ON THE AWARD, AND CONTINUED SUCCESS, MR. PRESIDENT!

I agree. I think we should all be supportive to our President if we want to call ourselves Americans. Anything that better's our President, also better's us. The Nobel Prize Ceremonies will be wonderful. I've read all about it in Anita Laughlin's book, Reindeer with King Gustaf. She shares her stories and experiences from beginning to end of the Nobel Prize Award Ceremonies, as her husband had just become a recipient of the Nobel Prize in physics.

The bow, is one part of the book that would be real important for Obama learn correctly. The author's fresh perspective and accurate detail will help Obama learn the Nobel bow correctly.

It is hard to do comedy on Obam - the material is just too plentiful. I mean thinking you can spend your way out of bankruptcy! That Iran will back down on building nukes because he threatened to give them a stern look. Maybe he should threaten to send them ACORN to help them with their elections. Oh, wait, they already have a well practised corrupt election system just we did in 2008.

This guy is sadly not an idiot. He, with a complicit and communist MSM, are destroying the US. That may be the real reason there are no good B Hussein jokes - because what he is doing is far from funny.

The only way anyone can still believe in this dopes' hope and change is if you are on dope - or believe that Freedom and the Constitution are overrated. If the former, keep on token - you will need more and more as time passes to keep up the belief - if the later - why don't you move to Iran or Cuba. Chavez is of course always looking for more loyal subjects to tyrannize. China is of course as good for human rights suppression as ever too.

SNL is so sad. They cannot make fun of Obama. They could have had a field day during the election campaign. They are wimps. They are one-sided weenies who can only go after the right. SNL these days suck - it was so much better in the old days.
