Rahm Emanuel suggested Holder, Duncan visit Chicago in wake of Derrion Albert murder

By sending Attorney General Eric Holder and Education Secretary Arne Duncan to Chicago on Wednesday, President Obama is taking an ownership stake in reducing teen murders in the city. White House chief of staff Rahm Emanuel, I was told by an administration source, had the idea of dispatching the cabinet members to Chicago. The murder of Fenger High School student Derrion Albert on Sept. 24 took place a few miles from where Obama worked as a community organizer. Read my report on the visit here.

Until the U.S. stops the sales of handguns, no one will be safe, not the shop owner, the worker on their way to work and the students to and from school. The only thing handguns do are kill innoncents -- not as protection but as Predators. This is insane...

The GOP's era in Power - over 20 years -- has done nothing for the average Americans and everything for big business, in the process ruining this country for everyone, since there are no Jobs and insurance costs have sky rocketed so that employers and employees cannot afford the costs. They have done nothing for the infra structure of this country, crumbling schools and bridges or on education (affordable college for youth). If we allow the GOP to rule again, you might as well expect to live in a third-world country, Guns and All!

Great post! I really like your blog!!
