DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE FOR
TUESDAY, OCTOBER 6, 2009

In the morning, the President will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing, the Economic Daily Briefing, and meet with senior advisors in the Oval Office. These meetings are closed press.

Later, the President will travel to the National Counterterrorism Center in Washington, DC. He will meet with NCTC leadership and deliver remarks to staff members. The President's remarks are pooled press.

In the afternoon, the President and the Vice President will meet with Congressional leadership and the chairs and ranking members of the relevant committees to discuss Afghanistan and Pakistan in the State Dining Room. A list of invited members is included at the end of the schedule. This meeting is closed press.
