Ted Kennedy's vacant Senate seat and whether a Kennedy will fill the spot

WASHINGTON--Vicki Kennedy, the widow of Sen. Ted Kennedy and his nephew, former Rep. Joseph Kennedy are the Kennedy's most mentioned to run in the Jan. 19 special election to fill Ted Kennedy's seat. Here's my report on the situation-which includes an explanation of the replacement process. And no, I don't get steamed up over a "widow preference."

Let the widow grieve. She deserves a very long vacation from the spotlight after the past 14 months.

it would also be a hungry handler to sign up and ride against the kennedy's in ma. as you know, lynn, the bulk of campaign folk in ma., are lobbyist in the off-season. 'it wouldn't be prudent' to sign-off aginst them.
