UPDATED: WEEK AHEAD GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE FOR
MONDAY, AUGUST 31 THROUGH SUNDAY, SEPTEMBER 6, 2009
On Tuesday afternoon, senior government officials will brief the President on preparedness and response efforts surrounding the 2009 H1N1 flu virus in the Oval Office. Participants will include White House Homeland Security Advisor John Brennan, Secretaries Sebelius, Napolitano, Duncan and Locke, and CDC Director Tom Frieden. There will be a pool spray at the bottom of the meeting.
In the evening, the President will host a dinner celebrating Ramadan and highlight the contributions of American Muslims in the State Dining Room. The President's remarks will be pooled press.
