I'm aghast at President Obama scheduling a State Deinner at the White House to celebrate Ramadan on September 1,2009. Has he forgotten that the eighth anniversary of September 11, 2001 is next week. Does he not realize that the people who celebrate Ramadan were the people responsible for this tragedy.

Thank you for publishing this information. I doubt the majority of the American public is aware of "this celebration."

"Lt. Commander Abuhena Saifulislam, U.S. Marine Corps."? there's no such rank in the u.s. marine corps. been there. done that.

I don't see anything wrong with President doing this. Eileen, not everyone is the same. Lok at the things happening every day all over USA shootings and stabbing and many other things, its not muslims doing these things. There are many stories now about 911, its making me think was it really who they say it was that did this???????????
