Council of Economic Advisers Chair Christina Romer will deliver a speech at the Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago where she will compare the economic shocks faced during the Great Depression and the current recession, and the vastly different policy responses to each crisis. She will also discuss the importance of passing comprehensive regulatory reform. The event will take place at Federal Reserve Bank of Chicago, 230 LaSalle Street, Chicago from 12:30 -1:30PM.
